Navarone – Vim And Vigor
In 2012, Navarone made a thundering entrance in the music world. The idiosyncratic combination of different (rock) styles, combined with the powerful, high vocals of frontman Merijn van Haren, was celebrated in the press and gave the band a spotlight during De Wereld Draait Door and at Noorderslag. The energetic live performance also increased the status of a real live band, which resulted in many sold-out club shows and festival shows at Zwarte Cross, Paaspop, Appelpop, Eurosonic and the Hungarian Sziget.
Vim and Vigor is the result of one and a half years of growth and experience and shows a broader, more mature and more unleashed Navarone – rock at its sharpest. The album will be officially presented on Wednesday 14 May in Tivoli de Helling in Utrecht and will be released in three formats (CD / LP / digital), with a different mastering chosen for each format.
